The Pathway to 17 Summit focuses on developing capacity to support the achievement of the United Nation’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.

We are at the beginning of a digital and technological revolution that will alter the way we live, work, and relate to one another. The scale and complexity of the transformation is enormous and rapidly evolving. This fourth industrial revolution will impact all economies and industries. Disruption and innovation requires new mindsets from organisations and governments, new skills from our workforce and the emergence of new professions.

Pathway to 17 Summit explores some of the innovations, advances, and new possibilities. It provides an opportunity to widen our knowledge, build capacity, open up dialogue and put us on a collaborative path to achieving the SDG goals.

This first Pathway to 17 Summit, focuses on Leading Inclusive and Equitable Economies. We have four key thematic areas of inclusive digital finance, inclusive digital economies, inclusive financial supervision and regulation, and gender equity.

Participants can develop their own personalised summit agenda through selecting to attend sessions from any thematic area depending on interest. The agenda has been cultivated to reflect current innovations and challenges and to inspire innovation and collaboration.

Industry experts have been invited to share their knowledge and experience through informative presentations and panel discussions. Each session closes with Q&A, ensuring that participants are involved and guide the learning that comes from these sessions. We are also delivering some sessions in French, allowing our Francophone colleagues the opportunity to get involved.

There is also opportunity to engage with your peers, build your network, and to join some of the newly established professional associations in Africa and Asia that are a driving force of change and collaboration.
